<p>Right now you will need to manually add the categories to the database. You could always checkout a few open source admin packages such as: <a href="https://github.com/FrozenNode/Laravel-Administrator" target="_blank">https://github.com/FrozenNode/Laravel-Administrator</a> and it should have basic CRUD functionality.</p>
<p>We'll look into a way of integrating adding categories to this package. We are also working on another open source Admin package that it will work seemlessly with. You can follow me on twitter http://twitter.com/tnylea to be notified when it will be released.
